The Maywood community is bounded by Lorcom Lane, Lee Highway, Oakland St., and Interstate 66. The material in this collection includes many subject files about neighborhood projects such as the proposal for a homeless shelter, the Mini-Park, Thrifton Hill Park, and the reconstruction of Lorcom Lane. These records show an organization deeply committed to working for what they believed to be the betterment of their community. The collection also contains some working records of the organization such as membership, financial, and meeting records.
