Cherrydale Meeting Minutes; n.d.

Meeting was called to order by the President. She told of the possibility of renting a vacant building on Main Street in Cherrydale with the county later on contributing about $20 a month. The constitution and bylaws were then discussed point by point and it was moved, seconded and passed that the constitution and bylaws stand as corrected.
It was brought up that the County Library Association would hold its annual meeting in April and it was asked that our officers be elected in March and delegates appointed to the County Association.
The basis for library association membership was discussed and it was decided that any interested may become members by paying dues of 25 cents a year.
It was suggested by Mrs. Hoar that silver teas be given as benefits for the library.
It was suggested that membership chairmen be selected in cash ?.
It was moved and seconded that the president and speakers to approve before the various Cherrydale organizations to present the library project.
It was moved, seconded, and passed that a committee, headed by the Pres. be appointed to see Mr. Hanrahan concerning the building with full ? to ask as they deem necessary.
The meeting adjourned.
