Febrey-Lothrop House, outbuildings. This house, at 6407 Wilson Boulevard, has a Colonial Revival facade of shingles weathered to a silver gray, a hip-roof with dormer windows, and graceful porches. The rear portion of the house may date to the mid-19th century when the property's owner at the time, John E. Febrey, built a house on a hilltop of the north side of what was to become Wilson Boulevard. The Febreys were large landowners in the County, and John Febrey, according to one source, built a mansion in the area after the Civil War.
